Sony NSX-40GT1 40-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED HDTV Featuring Google TV, Black

This TV is great! There are some mixed reviews on the Internet on this TV, but the reality is that no other TV that can do things that you can, period. There are no limits on what television can do and no down side to the actual specifications of the TV, but the positive way out of the negatives by a lot. I begin with the negative:

The first big negative for me is that TV is only 60 Hz. Although this is lower than most TVs out there that size, you can hardly notice a difference. There is also a good reason why this TV is slower than others, and it depends on TV requires a very specific processor to do what it was created to do. Because of the slower processor speed TV is not very good at playing video games online, but still works well for gaming in general story mode. The other big negative about this TV is the fact that some sites are blocked TV to access their site. Most of the sites that makes it work for our top deals with Sony, and only a few sites actually block the TV. (One of them is Hulu ...) The third negative for me was the fact that this TV uses an optical audio cable to connect the surround sound, which meant that I had to buy a new receiver because my old did not have an optical audio cable.

Now for the positive features of this product: The first major positive feature of this TV is the fact that self-updates, which means that every so often new software that makes it better or easier to use. From now on, each Google TV product purchased and each product purchased in the future be updated on an Android Honeycomb 3.1. This update will occur in late summer 2011. With this update, you get full access to applications, widgets, and each feature Android tablets can do everything on your widescreen TV. The other major positive element is access to the Internet on their own or while watching TV! There is no other TV on the market that has a full web browser! The third major positive element is the immediate rented movies or streaming to your TV. No longer do you watch Netflix, Amazon or blockbuster movies (or other streaming service) on your laptop / desktop or a third party device like a PS3, you can watch just that on your TV. The fourth is HD upscaling, and this TV can scale up an image or a movie shown in a lower resolution of 1080, which is nice if you have a lot of standard-definition DVDs at home that you want to see.

Some of the other features on this TV is worth mentioning is a universal remote that is fun and easy to use. Note: the mouse of the remote control is not the best, but it is not the primary source to maneuver around on this product. TV also has multiple USB ports, remote streaming from your phone or computer and a program that turns your phone into a remote control! One of the coolest features I like about TV is Google itself. I spend a lot of the features that Google offers online such as Google Docs, calendar and instant messaging, along with Facebook and other sites that I can access directly on TV. This is a great TV and is worth checking out for yourself!
