Sony NSX-24GT1 24-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV Featuring Google TV, Black
First, because the second study here, I have high speed internet and TV are connected wirelessly. Yes, it made me an update as well, but the whole process took maybe 10-15 minutes. Was not that bad of a wait ...
The picture is very sharp. Lots of connections. No, I do not buy from Amazon. I paid a little more than Amazon's price, but since then Amazon's price has gone up to approaching what I paid.
I noticed the 24 "Sony TV, Google seems to get low marks, but only 8 back on Amazon, as I type, so someone other than me think about this TV.
TV is not a thin TV. Its very heavy and has a deep cabinets. Built solid. I use it as a desktop TV next to my computer.
One thing that annoys me is that TV does not Vudu. Wish it did. I have a lot of Vudu movies on my Vudu account. Hope they add Vudu. Somewhere I read that it was the plan. To date, no other word in this.
I was worried for TV 24 "would be too large for a desk. It is only right. Metal stand takes up very little space, unlike other smaller TV with the typical round stand. Comes with wall mount that I didnot use. I like Google remote control. Fully equipped. wise Small but well-designed button. a lot to learn. many features. Comes with only one included short mini-manual. detailed and full manual is only available online via the television. At first I thought they forgot to include manual in the box. Then I discovered the detailed complete manual online. There is a link for quick access to detailed and complete manual of the TV menu. 4 stars only because of some Vudu services. Black trim front around the screen, on the back of Kit homes are completely white, with silver metal stand. In all a sharp looking TV physically.
When we only had WebTV as the only option for intergraded TV Internet. Now Sony and Google to match up the real Internet TV. It's about time.
